Job Description:

  • Practitioner: Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care. Practice critical thinking and anticipate changes in patient status, taking action to modify the plan or elevate to the care team as necessary.
  • Leader/Decision Maker: Manage interpersonal relationships, mentor colleagues, assume authority and accountability for nursing care, prioritize and organize time to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Scientist: Actively seek out current evidence and standards, apply and translate to daily practice, develop new knowledge through research, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
  • Transferor: Communicate effectively, partner with others to effect change, precept student nurses and other members of the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses with 2 years' experience considered.
