**Job Overview:**
">- We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner for Acute Care to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center.
As an Acute Care Resource Pool Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a therapeutic environment. You will assess, plan, and evaluate patient needs while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, including educational responsibilities and administrative duties. Your role will also involve participating in performance improvement activities to foster the goals of the hospital's mission and vision statement.
**Key Responsibilities:
]">- Assess patients' care needs and carry out physician orders.
- Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
- Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate patient condition effectively using computerized documentation systems.
**Requirements:
]">- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Tennessee Board of Nursing or compact state required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
- 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
