Project Engineer Job Description

WW Clyde is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Enid, Oklahoma. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager and/or Project Superintendent in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
  • Lead daily safety initiatives and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Interface with stakeholders to resolve problems, ensure quality construction, and promote operational efficiency.
  • Track project quantities and costs, and provide regular updates to the project team.
  • Attend and/or lead daily and weekly project meetings to ensure project progress and address any challenges or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify and address project challenges and risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Manage subcontractors, submittals, RFIs, permits, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure timely completion of project closeout activities and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of project management principles, including documentation, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, dispute resolution, personnel management, and resource scheduling.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in heavy civil construction and design/build projects.
