Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Project Manager and/or Project Superintendent in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
  • Lead daily safety initiatives and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Interface with stakeholders to resolve problems, ensure quality, and promote operational efficiency.
  • Track project quantities and costs, and provide timely updates to the project team.
  • Attend and/or lead daily and weekly project meetings to ensure project progress and address any challenges or risks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify and address project challenges and risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Manage subcontractors, submittals, RFIs, permits, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure timely completion of project closeout activities and document lessons learned.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of project management principles, including documentation, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, dispute resolution, personnel management, and resource scheduling.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-starter with a strong educational background in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience with heavy civil construction and design/build projects.
