Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Product Analyst II to join our team at Mountain West Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company. As a key member of our insurance department, you will be responsible for researching and reporting on industry changes, trends, and best practices, as well as leading project teams related to rate changes, form updates, filings, and product changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to inform business decisions.
  • Lead project teams to implement rate changes, form updates, filings, and product changes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, claims professionals, and sales teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as regulatory agencies and industry associations, to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Three years' experience in property and casualty insurance.
  • Ethics course and Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation (or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite or similar software.
  • Proficient knowledge of SERFF (electronic regulatory filing system).
  • Experience implementing new or modified policy language.
  • Experience with ISO based language.
Preferred Requirements
  • Five years' experience in property and casualty insurance underwriting or claims.
  • Experience with farm and ranch or commercial insurance.
  • Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
  • Experience with relevant federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Experience with researching rate and form filings.
  • Familiarity with Guidewire Insurance Suite.
