Position Summary
The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in managing the daily functions of the store, ensuring efficient operations. This position involves inspiring sales teams, implementing business strategies, and onboarding new employees. The Assistant Store Manager is pivotal in creating a welcoming environment for every customer, fostering a sense of belonging within our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Assist in overseeing store inventory management.
- Facilitate training for new staff and ongoing development for existing team members.
- Coordinate promotional events tailored to the retail environment.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing retail space.
- Implement business strategies to attract new clientele.
- Safeguard assets and train staff to minimize loss.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in technology and computer applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic administrative skills such as printing and scanning.
- Strong communication abilities.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail setting, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-driven and motivated.
- Ability to analyze and interpret sales data.
- Competent in computer usage.
- Understanding of the Grunt Style brand and its values.
Supervisory Role
Responsible for training and mentoring team members to foster continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements
This position is active and requires minimal sitting.
Travel Requirements
No travel is anticipated for this role.
