Role SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Nutrition and Wellness Specialist. This role is integral to our nutrition and wellness initiatives, focusing on delivering tailored nutrition support for our clients. The specialist will oversee the execution of corporate nutrition programs, ensuring compliance with nutritional standards and addressing specific dietary needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and promote our food philosophy and wellness programs, including nutrition commitments and wellness offerings.
- Ensure compliance with nutrition-related regulations, including menu labeling and dietary requirements.
- Utilize nutrition analysis software to maintain accurate dietary information.
- Collaborate with management teams to enhance marketing efforts for wellness events and dining promotions.
- Develop and execute customized wellness programming in partnership with onsite management and corporate wellness teams.
- Serve as a nutrition resource, fostering relationships with internal teams and client groups.
- Educate operational teams on wellness standards and protocols for managing food allergies and special diets.
- Stay informed on nutrition trends and communicate relevant information to the team.
- Work closely with culinary teams to ensure menu items are nutritionally balanced and appealing.
- Facilitate nutrition workshops and maintain accurate labeling for menu items.
- Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required.
- State licensure as applicable is required.
- Preferred experience includes two years in wellness within educational or corporate settings.
- Serve-Safe certification is preferred; must obtain within twelve weeks of hire if not already certified.
- Familiarity with nutrition analysis tools is advantageous.
- Culinary or foodservice experience is strongly preferred.
