Job Summary

DRMP is seeking a skilled Survey Field Technician to join our team in Pensacola. As a Survey Field Technician, you will be responsible for conducting surveys, operating instruments, and collecting data for various types of surveys. If you have a strong background in surveying and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct surveys and collect data using various instruments and equipment.
  • Operate total stations, levels, and other measuring devices to acquire data for surveys.
  • Assist in processing field measurements and related data.
  • Maintain supplies for crew vehicles and perform limited equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledge of and ability to execute the duties of the rod person and substitute for and perform the duties of the crew chief when absent.
Requirements
  • High School and/or specialized training from a vocational or technical school.
  • Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
  • Ability to travel (if needed).
  • Ability to carry and lift equipment as needed on the project.
  • Ability to cut and/or clear brush while establishing survey lines (machete use).
  • Knowledge of equipment and the ability to set up for various types of different work situations.
  • Ability to hold and proficiently use all measuring devices.
