Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Trane Technologies is seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team in the Pensacola, FL area. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and provide top-notch service to our customers.

About the Role:
  • Leverage your HVAC expertise to troubleshoot, diagnose, and service commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests for a variety of commercial and industrial equipment.
  • Enjoy a variety in your daily duties, which may include start-up and commissioning of Trane controls and HVAC equipment, troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC equipment, and performing replacements and modifications of HVAC equipment or systems as needed.

Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort with hand-held devices (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).
  • A valid driver's license, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
  • Universal EPA Certification preferred.
  • Ability to work on-call rotation and/or overtime to support the business, including occasional overnight stays.
Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:
  • Must be able to safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seat belt.
  • Must be able to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness, and safety boots to safely perform job duties.
  • Must be able to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction.
  • Must be able to squat and touch the floor with both hands.
  • Must be able to reach your hands over your head.
  • Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, routinely up to 4 hours.
  • This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
