Burn Unit Registered Nurse Wound Care Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Burn Unit team. As a Burn Unit Registered Nurse Wound Care and Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with complex wounds and burns. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goal of providing exceptional care and outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and scientific judgment to independently deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes and promote a positive and supportive environment.
- Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to serving as a resource to the patient care team.
- Accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree from an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Burn Unit or similar setting.
