Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Burn Unit team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with burn injuries, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with burn injuries, utilizing evidence-based practices and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes, including pain management, wound care, and rehabilitation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in burn care and wound management.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
