ManTech International Corporation is seeking a highly skilled System Safety Specialist to join our team. As a System Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for providing Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) support to programs under Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) and Program Executive Officer Land Systems (PEO LS).
Key Responsibilities- Develop, administer, and oversee the implementation of ESOH programs.
- Provide ESOH recommendations for acquisition areas of responsibility, including hazard tracking systems, risk acceptances, safety releases, battery data packages, National Environmental Policy Act decision memorandums, etc.
- Verify that DoD programs adhere to regulations and best practices such as DoDI and MIL-STD-882E.
- Investigate mishap, property damage, and near miss incidents to identify causes and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Advise Commands and Units on safety issues, including recreation and off-duty safety, mishap prevention and controls, the use and care of personal protective equipment, hazard communication, and other potential problem areas.
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 7 years of experience in DoDI and MIL-STD 882E safety guidance and best practices, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Regulations, and related fields.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Competitive salary range: $110,800-$185,500.
