Key Responsibilities:
The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Neonatologist who will engage in neonatal medicine education, research, quality enhancement, and mentorship. The role encompasses a blend of clinical responsibilities, neonatal follow-up, ECMO, hypothermia treatment, and educational activities. Opportunities for involvement in fellowship education, program innovation, and research initiatives aligned with personal interests and expertise are available.
Core Duties:
- Education: Providing instructional support to medical students, residents, and fellows through clinical engagements.
- Research: Participating in research endeavors that may include basic science, clinical investigations, or other scholarly activities.
- Service: Contributing to divisional, departmental, or institutional committees and engaging in professional activities such as peer reviews and conference presentations.
- Clinical Practice: Serving as a Neonatologist within the Department of Pediatrics, including on-call responsibilities.
- Administrative Duties: Managing administrative tasks associated with the role.
- Board certification in pediatrics and eligibility/certification in neonatal-perinatal medicine
- Experience in neonatal-perinatal clinical practice
- Background in an academic medical setting
- Engagement in scholarly research activities
- Commitment to promoting diversity within the academic community
- NRP certification
