Job Title: Mitigation Technician

This esteemed company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mitigation Technician to join their team. As a key member of the commercial restoration team, you will be responsible for mitigating and restoring properties affected by water damage, fire, or other disasters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties to identify areas of concern and develop effective mitigation strategies
  • Implement and oversee the execution of mitigation and restoration plans to ensure timely and cost-effective results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, estimators, and technicians, to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in all aspects of the job

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in mitigation and restoration, preferably in a commercial setting
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Xactimate experience a plus; IICRC qualifications in Water Damage Restoration highly encouraged
  • Commercial and residential construction experience a plus
  • Background in reconstruction and mitigation a plus
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
