Job Opportunity:

PGS Worldwide is seeking a skilled Assembler to support ongoing projects for a leading Aerospace and Defense company in Plymouth, MN. This is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity on the 1st shift, Monday-Thursday and every other Friday, 6 am to 3:30 pm, with a competitive hourly rate of up to $22 for well-qualified candidates.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks, from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. This includes modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. The Assembler will also conduct quality inspections on the processing line by quality specifications and may disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of related experience in electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read and understand Operating Procedures
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • US Citizenship
