Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting endoscopic procedures by preparing equipment, managing specimens, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, positioning patients, and cleaning/testing sites as necessary.
• Interpret and report test results, recognizing and addressing recording errors and artifacts.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and lab areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience, or an Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
