About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting endoscopic procedures and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, positioning patients, and cleaning/testing sites as necessary.
  • Support endoscopic procedures by preparing equipment, fields, and managing specimens.
  • Interpret, describe, and report test results, recognizing recording errors and artifacts.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab areas.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
