We are seeking a highly skilled Installation Quality Manager to join our team at Preferred Floor & Tile Co. As a key member of our installations department, you will be responsible for overseeing all ongoing jobs, open cases, pre-walks, and post-walks. Your expertise in flooring and tile installation will enable you to identify areas of improvement and work with other departments to develop and implement internal processes to increase quality and end product delivery to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduled pre-walks to assess tile, hardwood, and carpet projects compared to as quoted, confirming design layout items, materials needed, and job readiness.
- Manage all ongoing jobs, providing daily direction to installers, and coordinating additional materials and labor needed to complete jobs.
- Develop and implement internal processes to increase quality and end product delivery to customers.
- Attract and onboard new installers with a growth and development strategy.
- Manage all work orders within payroll deadlines and correct any payroll or reimbursement disputes with the accounting department.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write letters and prepare other documents as needed.
- Ability to use multiple software programs, computers, iPhones, tablets, and peripheral equipment, knowledge of databases, spreadsheet, and email.
- Be able to communicate in English orally and in writing.
- Ability to drive and maintain a driver's license with personal car insurance.
