We are seeking a highly skilled Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join our team at MCM & Associates.
Responsibilities:- Our Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians to provide high-quality patient care, making independent decisions and contributing to the development of effective treatment plans.
- They will promote patient health by providing medical services under the supervision of a licensed physician, assessing patient health through comprehensive physical examinations, and compiling patient medical data.
- The ideal candidate will work under established protocols to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans, providing timely and complete clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
- They will maintain ongoing communication with the supervising physician and other members of the care team, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care.
- Our Nurse Practitioner will partner with patients to develop contracts of care, providing encouragement and motivational support to promote adherence to treatment plans.
- Additional responsibilities may include performing other duties as determined collaboratively by the supervising physicians, within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner and the healthcare institution's policies.
- Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the Board of Registered Nursing
- MSN Degree Required
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State of California
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certificate or eligible to obtain
- Furnishing number issued by the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
- National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioner
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Minimum one year Nurse Practitioner experience
