PRN Speech and Language Therapist

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, planning, executing, and assessing the speech therapy requirements of patients across various age groups, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. This role involves maintaining comprehensive documentation of patient care and treatment plans. The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct thorough evaluations and develop tailored treatment strategies based on assessment results. Additionally, this position includes addressing the educational needs of patients, families, and healthcare professionals, managing patient care assignments, and overseeing organizational tasks related to patient and departmental functions. The Speech Language Pathologist will also take on a clinical leadership role, utilizing knowledge of developmental stages to enhance patient interactions and will perform other related responsibilities as necessary.
Essential Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- National Certification in Speech Language Pathology (to be obtained within 24 months of employment)
- State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology (KY)
- Minimum of one year of experience in speech/language pathology within a healthcare environment
- Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology
