Pharmaceutical Services Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Services Specialist to join our team at Ansible Government Solutions. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) facility. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare prescriptions and packages in an accurate, timely, and cost-effective manner, ensuring seamless services and production.

Responsibilities:
• Verify prescription orders for legend, OTC, Medical Surgical, and Controlled Substances
• Assess drug orders and cross-match with medication presented at checking stations
• Pre-verify medications loaded into mechanical apparatus for dispensing
• Complete verification and fill of controlled substance orders
• Perform Quality Assurance functions and supervise Pharmacy Technicians
• Follow CMOP policies regarding documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
• Licensed in a state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States
• Graduated from an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) accredited school or university
• Licensed for controlled substances with qualifications to practice in any state
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office and basic typing skills
• Fluent in English under U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d)
Working Conditions:
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
