Position Overview:
The Technical Analyst Intake Coordinator plays a crucial role in promoting an agile and collaborative environment across Global Information Technology and Shared Services projects. This position serves not only as a mediator but also as a strategic ally to both technology and business sectors, ensuring that projects are closely aligned with evolving business requirements and delivering value effectively.
Collaboration and Engagement with Stakeholders:
- Engage proactively with business leaders and non-IT stakeholders to thoroughly comprehend their goals, processes, and challenges.
- Organize regular stakeholder meetings to maintain alignment, gather insights, and refine project objectives based on business requirements and technological capabilities.
- Ensure clear communication channels among all parties, keeping stakeholders informed and involved throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advocate for agile methodologies and principles during project intakes, fostering iterative development and ongoing enhancement.
- Act as the agile facilitator for all incoming projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Applications Development, Information Security, Networking, and Database Support.
- Create an atmosphere of open dialogue and swift adaptation to change, ensuring project scopes and objectives are regularly reviewed and modified as needed.
- Design and implement effective metrics and reporting systems to monitor project progress, outcomes, and the value delivered to the organization.
- Utilize data insights to inform decision-making processes and project modifications, nurturing a culture of accountability and performance-driven results.
- Represent Global Information Technology and Shared Services as a technical liaison, gathering business needs and requirements, assessing resource capacity, and facilitating planning.
- Support complex projects and/or multiple smaller projects in the role of intake coordinator.
- Lead requirements sessions, guiding discussions with Global Information Technology and Shared Services managers and architects to address scope, technical requirements, and objectives.
- Provide metrics and communication updates on behalf of Global Information Technology and Shared Services; participate in business requirements meetings; report on details related to incoming projects with relevant areas within the team.
- Clarify and explain technical requirements for other project team stakeholders to aid in the development of specific project deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Analyst.
- Prior experience as a technical project coordinator.
- Experience with networking, externally facing applications, and infrastructure.
Essential Skills:
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. This role represents the Global Information Technology and Shared Services team for all projects requiring their services.
- Strong understanding of business scope and requirements, with the ability to translate these into technical specifications.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and best practices.
- Solid grasp of resource capacity planning, including project timelines, prioritization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to create visual metrics and flowcharts.
- Capability to facilitate technical discussions with key project stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Proficient in building strong relationships with both technology and business stakeholders.
- Competence in gathering comprehensive information and requesting additional details when necessary.
- Solid knowledge of networking and infrastructure principles.
- Working knowledge of Information Security, Applications Development, and AWS Cloud.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Preference will be given to candidates local to MillerKnoll.
- This role may offer a hybrid work arrangement or remote options based on location.
