Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to make a significant impact in the lives of students through effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations to identify speech and language impairments.
  • Develop and execute tailored treatment plans to address specific communication needs.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse student population.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and specialists to enhance student outcomes.
  • Track and document student progress towards established goals.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Engage in IEP meetings, providing expert insights on speech and language requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field (or expected graduation soon).
  • Completion of clinical fellowship (CFY) or eligibility for CFY.
  • Valid licensure in the state of Washington or eligibility for licensure.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience in a school environment or relevant practicum is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
