Position Overview:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals eager to make a significant impact in the educational sector by supporting students with communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations to diagnose speech and language impairments.
  • Develop and execute tailored treatment strategies to enhance communication skills.
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services to a diverse student population.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and specialists to foster student development.
  • Track and document student progress towards established objectives.
  • Maintain organized and precise records in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Engage in IEP meetings, providing insights on students' speech and language requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (or anticipated graduation within the current academic year).
  • Completion of clinical fellowship (CFY) or eligibility for CFY.
  • Valid licensure in Washington state or eligibility for licensure.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience in an educational environment or relevant practicum experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
