Medical Assistant - Per Diem

At Carbon Health, we're dedicated to making high-quality healthcare accessible to everyone. As a Per Diem Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our team of clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient care tasks, including taking vitals, patient history, and triaging
  • Assist with procedures, such as incision and drainage, lacerations, and wound care
  • Administer medications via intradermal, intramuscular, and subcutaneous routes
  • Conduct lab testing, including urinalysis, urine pregnancy test, blood glucose testing, monospot, rapid strep, and influenza testing
  • Manage the front desk and perform receptionist duties as needed
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Certification from a National board or completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited school
  • Current BLS and CPR certification
  • Comfortable rotating weekdays and some weekends as needed
