Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Take patients' medical histories, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
  • Explain treatment procedures to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
  • Assist the physician during examinations, providing support and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Collect and test lab specimens, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Record patients' vitals, accurately documenting their health status.
  • Keep exam rooms clean and tidy, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
  • Assist with administrative duties, such as scheduling and data entry.
  • Will need to assist as an X-Ray tech when the current tech is out, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Medical Assistant Diploma/Certification
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • ARRT preferred
