SpineSearch is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant and X-Ray tech to join our growing orthopedic team in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Take patients' medical histories, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Explain treatment procedures to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
- Assist the physician during examinations, providing support and maintaining a safe environment.
- Collect and test lab specimens, following established protocols and procedures.
- Record patients' vitals, accurately documenting their health status.
- Keep exam rooms clean and tidy, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
- Assist with administrative duties, such as scheduling and data entry.
- Will need to assist as an X-Ray tech when the current tech is out, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Medical Assistant Diploma/Certification
- At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- ARRT preferred
