Candy Filling Production Specialist

At Pladis Global, we're committed to delivering high-quality products that bring happiness to people around the world. As a key member of our production team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our candy filling production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of ingredients for candy fillings, adhering to approved formulas and quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain various kitchen processing equipment, including CIP of cream transfer lines and tanks.
  • Ensure the availability of ingredients for production runs, following strict quality control measures.
  • Monitor and control the temperature and consistency of fillings, using steam valves and chilled water valves as needed.
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets and adhere to food safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of cooking and mixing equipment, as well as tempered chocolate and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, following instructions and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including afternoon and night shifts, and to adapt to changing production schedules.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Working Conditions:

  • Temperatures (cold and hot), humid/wet conditions, and exposure to chemicals and mechanical work.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, with occasional climbing and balancing required.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Hair nets, hearing protection, long pants, slip-resistant shoes, and nitrile gloves.
  • Rubber gloves, safety glasses, face shield, dust mask, and chemical protective work gloves.

Tools and Equipment:

  • HACCP test, fork lift training, fork lift test, electric fork lift license, and audiometric test.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with variable equipment and job rotation.
