Evening Cleaning Specialist

Position Overview:

As an Evening Cleaning Specialist at Allied Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and visitors. Under the guidance of the Janitorial Supervisor, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of designated areas, ensuring that all janitorial tasks are performed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  2. Utilize various cleaning equipment such as floor machines and automatic scrubbers.
  3. Manage waste disposal by collecting refuse and maintaining cleanliness of waste containers.
  4. Ensure all surfaces, including furniture and fixtures, are polished and free of dust.
  5. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, ensuring all supplies are replenished regularly.
  6. Address special cleaning tasks as assigned, including floor refinishing and window cleaning.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in custodial services is advantageous, ideally with at least six months in a similar role.

Work Environment:
