We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing goals and overseeing the implementation of patient food services needs based on medical direction and patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement patient-centered food services strategies to meet the needs of our patients.
- Lead and manage a team of patient service staff to ensure exceptional patient satisfaction and experience.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and special diets.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory standards and best practices in food service management.
Requirements:
- Associate degree with one year of work experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in food service technology/management or a related field.
- Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian, preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in food service management in an acute care setting, preferred.
- ServSafe certified, desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems.
