Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Odessa Regional Medical Center. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting patient samples and performing specified lab tests in Microbiology, Hematology, and Urinalysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect patient samples competently and expediently
  • Perform specified lab tests in Microbiology, Hematology, and Urinalysis
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Eighty hours of training in the proper procedure to be employed in the performance of venipuncture and skin punctures
  • Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification
