About the Role

The Data Warehouse Developer II is a key member of our technology team, responsible for designing, developing, and testing data warehouse integration using type-2 slowly changing dimension techniques. This role requires collaboration with members of the technology, business, and vendor solution teams to design and develop integrated solutions that meet the data analytic needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and test data warehouse processes to implement ETL (extract, transform, and load) procedures to integrate, track history of, and validate business data gathered from disparate systems throughout the organization.
  • Work collaboratively with members of the business, internal technical teams, and vendor solutions teams to understand, model, and integrate the data analytics needs of the business.
  • Provide technical support to reporting and data analysis teams throughout the organization.
  • Advise the organization on industry best practices and evolving technology solutions in data analytics, data warehousing, and data modeling. Evaluate and test new tools and technologies to enhance the enterprise data toolset.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Database Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL, and data modeling.
  • 3 years of experience in software development and testing.
  • 3 years of experience working with Kimball style dimensional data systems.
  • 2+ years of experience extracting data from structured, unstructured, and semi-structured source systems.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering data to users or destination systems in both structured and semi-structured formats.
  • 2+ years of experience with development in an Agile environment.
  • 2+ years of experience with Data Analytics and Business Intelligence tools such as SSAS/SSRS, QLik, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
