Job Title: Retail Key Carrier

Join our dynamic team at Marshalls as a Retail Key Carrier, where you will play a key role in maintaining the store's operations and providing exceptional customer service. As a Retail Key Carrier, you will alternate between Coordinator and Key Carrier roles, taking on leadership responsibilities and ensuring the store runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, creating a positive experience for internal and external customers.
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
  • Act as Manager on Duty, ensuring store team members perform tasks and activities in accordance with store plan and prioritizing as needed.
  • Address immediate customer service issues, providing coaching to Associates and exercising discretion regarding customer service policies.
  • Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Ensure Associates adhere to all operational procedures, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities and providing progress updates.
  • Provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates, partnering with Management on Associate training needs.
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, promoting credit and loyalty programs and supporting shrink reduction goals.
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow up on multiple people/tasks.
  • Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • 1 year retail experience, 6 months leadership experience.

This position has a starting pay range of $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
