Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols at all times.
  • Supervise apprentices and provide mentorship and leadership.
  • Design and implement the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with job specifications and local regulations.
  • Repair or replace electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures utilizing hand and power tools.
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using appropriate tools.
  • Troubleshoot and evaluate electrical systems and circuit continuity in wiring equipment and fixtures, employing testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and test lamps.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Guide and train personnel in the installation, maintenance, or repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Perform warehouse duties and material handling as required.
  • Execute pre-fabrication tasks both on-site and off-site as necessary.
  • Follow blueprints to ascertain the location of wiring and equipment, ensuring adherence to building and safety codes.
  • Participate in internal training sessions.
  • Be available for overtime and/or irregular hours as needed.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Current Journeyman or Master Electrician with a valid Colorado License.
  • Maintain an up-to-date electrician's license or identification card to comply with governmental regulations.
  • Possess the necessary personal tools for the job.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant electrical experience.
  • Ability to develop effective communication, planning, and training skills.

Physical Demands

Must be capable of working from various types of ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms (electric or gas powered); able to work at heights up to 50 feet; capable of navigating restricted areas, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics; able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead; able to carry tools and materials weighing up to 50 pounds; must be able to move continuously, climbing ladders and working overhead; possess good vision (normal or corrected).
