Job Overview

At Kinetic Physical Therapy & Wellness, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Onslow County Schools. As an SLPA, you will work closely with our speech-language pathologists to provide high-quality services to students with communication disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist speech-language pathologists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct services to students, including assessments, goal development, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with Teachers, Parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support for students
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-based speech-language services

Requirements:

  • AAS from an NC accredited SLPA program or permit to practice in NC if a bachelor's degree candidate
  • At least one year of school-based experience as an SLPA
  • Must be permitted by the NC Board of SLPA Examiners prior to consideration
