Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide patient care services and direct treatment to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and be certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallow, or cognitive disorders, and develop a plan of care tailored to their needs.
  • Document patient care data accurately and thoroughly, reflecting progress or decline in their condition.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide in-service education, health care professional education, and public education as needed, and supervise peers and supporting personnel.
  • Conduct research and assist with the orientation of new employees as required.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
  • Current licensure from the state in which employed by the company.
  • Strong knowledge of speech language pathology theory and concepts, and ability to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallow, or cognitive disorders.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, and CPR certification.
  • Minimum of twelve hours of continuing education annually.
  • Ability to accept travel and working conditions as assigned.
