Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Waterpark Safety Specialist to join our team at Bridges Bay Resort. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests and enforcing all State and company pool rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor recreational areas to provide assistance and protection to participants.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to each guest.
  • Understand and enforce waterpark rules and regulations.
  • Stay updated on training requirements.
  • Work to prevent accidents.
  • Coordinate emergency procedures and provide first aid in an emergency.
  • Document all incidents that occurred while on duty.
  • Report hazards to supervisor immediately.
  • Open and close the Waterpark at posted times.
  • Clean up pool deck areas after closing.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work tasks are performed indoor and outdoors. Temperature varies. Must wear uniform while on duty.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Walking and standing are also required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and remain calm in stressful situations with all guests, including children.
  • Ability to take control of emergency situations.

Training and Certifications:

  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard.
