Job Description

SERVPRO of Albany is seeking a highly skilled Restoration Project Manager to oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects and crews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Estimation: Ensure accurate project scope and prepare estimates using computer hardware and proprietary software.
  • Customer and Client Management: Negotiate project scope and estimate approval with customers and clients.
  • Crew Management: Schedule, coordinate, and oversee crews and resources to provide service on active projects, including subcontractors.
  • Job Site Documentation: Review job site documentation to support services provided and ensure proper client requirements and billing process.
  • Communication: Maintain written communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives.
  • Expense Management: Manage production expenses, including equipment, vehicles, and other material assets.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction, tracked with online reviews.
  • Priority Response: Provide priority response to potential customers.
  • Team Development: Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training restoration teammates.
Position Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma/GED; Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • At Least 1 Year of Management and/or Supervisory Experience
  • At Least 3 Years of Industry Experience
  • IICRC Certification a Plus
Skills and Physical Demands
  • Lifting and Mobility: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
  • Repetitive Tasks: Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
  • Cleaning Agents: Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
  • Background Check: Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
