Compensation:

$135,000 - $175,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings.
  • Stay informed about local, state, and federal statutes and relevant laws.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Prepare necessary documents, including motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses.
  • Oversee all facets of litigation cases, from pre-trial discovery to trial and appeal, focusing on efficiency and client objectives.
  • Perform thorough legal research and analysis to formulate effective case strategies.
  • Draft and present compelling motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Effectively prepare and depose witnesses.
  • Represent clients confidently in court hearings and trials, aiming for exceptional outcomes.
  • Negotiate favorable settlements for clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with partners, associates, and paralegals.
  • Remain updated on legal developments and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Strong persuasive writing and verbal communication skills, along with time management and interpersonal abilities.
  • Prior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration.
  • Active member of state and local bar associations in good standing.
  • Ability to manage a heavy caseload with minimal supervision.
  • A minimum of five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal field.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • State Bar admission (Texas) required.
  • At least five years of successful litigation practice experience.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing capabilities.
  • Excellent oral advocacy skills with courtroom experience.
  • Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to client service.
