About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Cardiac Technician to join our team. As a Cardiac Technician, you will play a critical role in reviewing patient ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness. You will also be responsible for effectively communicating ECG abnormalities to physicians and performing quality assurance behind the final report delivered to the physician.
Key Responsibilities- ECG Data Review: Review patient ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness.
- Communication: Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance behind the final report delivered to the physician.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements, including CCT certification.
- Continuous Learning: Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills.
- Work Experience: Work experience as a telemetry/monitor technician, Holter scanner, or other specialty requiring ECG interpretation is necessary.
- Certification: If you do not have your CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician) certification, you must become certified within 120 days of hire.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. An Associate's degree or two years of college coursework is preferred.
- Skills: Intermediate level PC proficiency, excellent attention to detail, positive attitude, and team player.
