Job Title: Senior Geosynthetics Installation Quality Assurance Inspector

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geosynthetics Installation Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that geosynthetic materials are installed in compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site inspections and monitoring of geosynthetic installation activities to ensure compliance with company and project specifications.
  • Document installation processes, including quality, strength, and integrity of geosynthetic materials, and report findings to project managers and engineers.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings to provide input on geosynthetics installation best practices, standards, and quality control measures.
  • Provide training and guidance to CQA team members on proper geosynthetics installation techniques and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies related to geosynthetics installation and quality assurance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education (GED).
  • 2-3 years of experience in solid waste/geosynthetic discipline.
  • Progressive experience in the observation and construction administration of liner installation and soil testing.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for conveying inspection findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Work Environment:
  • Working outdoors in all-weather types (hot, cold, in the rain, snow, sleet, and high wind).
  • Driving to and from construction job sites in the Southeast (Road warrior position 100% travel).
  • Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions (climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and respective motions).
