Position Overview:

The role reports directly to the Director of Marketing and collaborates closely with the Engagement Marketing/Print Specialist. The selected candidate will operate from the office during weekdays and will be responsible for managing all facets of graphic design according to client specifications and managerial approval. This includes executing and supervising all print projects, as well as overseeing printer equipment and supplies.

  • Availability to work weekdays, with occasional weekends and/or after-hours as dictated by the event calendar.
  • Strong follow-through on multiple concurrent projects is crucial.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • A reliable mode of transportation and a clean driving record are mandatory; personal vehicle may be needed for transporting equipment or installing decals.
  • Capability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, humidity, and aridity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as HP RIP software for HP printers and Graphtec plotters.
  • Experience with large format printers, color management, ink and vinyl ordering, and machine maintenance.
  • Background in designing vehicle wraps is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage printer equipment to ensure optimal functionality and maintenance, including annual servicing.
  • Order necessary supplies such as ink, vinyl, and banner materials, while maintaining proper inventory levels.
  • Design graphics for client approval, including event signage, vehicle wraps, and decals.
  • Ensure timely production of all graphics and signage for ongoing projects, including on-demand printing as needed.
  • Anticipate signage requirements and proactively produce graphics.
  • Inventory and manage existing decals and signage to optimize material production.
  • Coordinate vehicle wrap installations with installers (installation experience is a plus).
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all print jobs, including careful measurement, selection of appropriate materials, and substrate application.
  • Provide cost estimates to ensure accurate billing to clients and adherence to project budgets.
  • Assist in the design, printing, and occasional installation of quarterly sales events.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to forecast project needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated to handle projects independently.
  • Assist with overall print shipping requirements.
  • Install decals on display vehicles (training will be provided).
  • Occasionally transport vehicles as needed for events.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range of $55,000 - $65,000, based on a standard 40-hour workweek.
  • Performance-based bonuses may be applicable.
  • Health care coverage available (up to $400/month), effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
  • Partial reimbursement for cell phone expenses, including $50 monthly usage reimbursement and 50% reimbursement for handsets with managerial approval.
  • 401K plan available after one year, with a 4% employer match.
  • Paid vacation time accrues during the first year of full-time employment.
  • Vacation days increase with tenure: 10 days after one year, 16 days after three years, and 21 days after five years.
