Job Summary

The Operations Manager, Annuity New Business will provide leadership to a team of Case Managers, Replacement Technicians, and Policy Support personnel. This role will partner with the team's distribution partners to establish and sustain a strong, professional, and focused team engaged in a productive collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team to provide efficient, productive, and satisfying life insurance placement experiences for distribution partners.
  • Provide leadership in establishing and sustaining focus on winning profitable business from successful distribution partners.
  • Responsible for client relationships with distribution partners and serves as the primary point of contact for distribution leadership.
  • Receiver and adjudicator of conflicts and appeals, except those strictly regarding underwriting decisions.
  • Personnel management, including team and individual performance, goals, metrics, individual development plans, and general performance management.
  • Team management, including team workload and capacity management, and team performance and metrics.
  • Responsible for collaboration across distribution and enterprise-wide teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 10 years of business experience in the life and annuity industry, with a solid understanding of distribution, marketing, and operations.
  • Strong leadership skills, including motivating and managing vision and purpose.
  • Exceptional customer focus and a keen appreciation for the needs and interests of distribution partners.
  • Demonstrated strength in building effective teams and developing direct reports and others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and effectiveness in a collaborative work environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check that may include fingerprinting.
Compensation and Benefits

The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience.
