Metal Fabrication Specialist

Salary: $20-$22 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute a range of welding repairs and new fabrications while enhancing technical expertise.
• Conduct both basic and advanced repair welds on various equipment and components.
• Utilize techniques such as arc welding, air arc, gas welding, and cutting.
• Fabricate new parts based on shop drawings and blueprints.
• Collaborate effectively within a team to deliver technical services that meet client requirements and departmental objectives.
• Be available for overtime as dictated by workload and client demands.
• Complete service reports and other necessary documentation.
• Inspect workpieces for defects to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain all company tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean and functional condition.
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Assist fellow welders as needed.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT regulations diligently.
• Adhere to safety protocols consistently and comply with all company policies and standards.
• Exhibit regular and punctual attendance.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields is essential.
• Familiarity with welding tools and techniques is required.
• Demonstrated excellent work habits, precision, attention to detail, and quality of output.
• Experience with auger and fabrication repairs is advantageous.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and welding assessments.
• Travel may be necessary.
