Position Title: Trench Fabrication Specialist
Role Summary: The primary responsibility of the Trench Fabrication Specialist is to execute routine repairs and maintenance on a diverse array of construction machinery, aimed at minimizing customer downtime. While most repairs will take place in the workshop, occasional fieldwork may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality repairs on various construction equipment.
- Utilize advanced welding techniques, including stick and wire fed welding, as well as gas welding and brazing with steel or brass rods.
- Work on electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems, along with diesel and gas engines, and drive trains.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in welding (electric arc stick, gas welding, and brazing).
- Proficient in applying mathematical skills to solve technical problems and verify measurements.
- Commitment to high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Previous mechanical experience with construction equipment is advantageous.
- Physical capability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing.
