Position Overview

Salary: $20-$22 (Dependent on Experience)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute a range of welding repairs and new fabrications while enhancing technical expertise.
  • Conduct both basic and advanced repair welds on various equipment and components.
  • Utilize techniques such as arc welding, air arc, gas welding, and cutting.
  • Construct new components from detailed shop drawings and blueprints.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver essential technical services that meet client requirements and support departmental objectives.
  • Work overtime as necessary based on workload and client demands.
  • Complete service reports and other required documentation.
  • Inspect workpieces for defects to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Maintain all company tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean and functional condition.
  • Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Assist fellow welders as needed.
  • Follow contamination control and HAZMAT regulations diligently.
  • Prioritize safety at all times and adhere to relevant safety policies; comply with all company guidelines and standards.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields is essential.
  • Knowledge of welding tools and techniques is required.
  • Strong work ethic, precision, attention to detail, and commitment to quality are crucial.
  • Experience with auger and fabrication repairs is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and welding assessments.
  • Travel may be necessary.
