Metal Fabrication Specialist

Salary: $20-$22 (Dependent on Experience)
Core Responsibilities:
- Execute a range of welding repairs and new fabrications while enhancing technical expertise.
- Conduct both basic and advanced repair welds on various equipment and components.
- Utilize techniques such as arc welding, air arc, gas welding, and cutting.
- Construct new components from detailed shop drawings and blueprints.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver essential technical services that meet client requirements and support departmental objectives.
- Work overtime as necessary based on workload and client demands.
- Complete service reports and other required documentation.
- Inspect workpieces for defects to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Maintain all company tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean and functional condition.
- Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Assist fellow welders as needed.
- Follow contamination control and HAZMAT regulations diligently.
- Prioritize safety at all times and adhere to relevant safety policies; comply with all company guidelines and standards.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields is essential.
- Knowledge of welding tools and techniques is required.
- Strong work ethic, precision, attention to detail, and commitment to quality are crucial.
- Experience with auger and fabrication repairs is advantageous.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and welding assessments.
- Travel may be necessary.
