Cardiologist Position at Sacramento VA Medical Center

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiologist to join our team at the Sacramento VA Medical Center. As a Cardiologist, you will provide high-quality patient care, conduct diagnostic testing, and develop treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including history and physicals, medication management, and treatment planning.
- Perform minor procedures, such as Transesophageal Echocardiogram and Elective Cardioversion, as approved by credentialing and privileging.
- Conduct inpatient clinical duties, including providing consultative recommendations and performing medication reconciliation.
- Triage incoming Cardiology service consults based on appropriateness, acuity, and service capabilities.
- Report and document results of ECGs, Echos, Holters, and Stress Tests in a timely manner.
- Board Certification in Internal or Family Medicine.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology.
- Up to 26 days of paid vacation, 13 days paid sick time, and 11 paid federal holidays.
- Guaranteed salary increases and an annual performance bonus up to $15,000.
- Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted active U.S. license.
