Nutrition Service Assistant

Job Summary:
The Nutrition Service Aide is responsible for providing exceptional food service to patients and visitors at Faith Regional Health Services. This role requires a team player who can work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves food on tray line and ensures that items are issued in a timely manner.
- Notes patient food preferences and dietary intolerance.
- Maintains kitchen in a clean, neat, and organized manner.
- Implements infection control practices and monitors food and equipment temperatures.
- Prepares and delivers food items as requested by patients or departments.
- Loads and operates dish machine and puts clean dishes and utensils away.
- Performs cleaning duties as assigned and maintains serving line in a clean and organized manner.
- Serves hot and cold food/beverages on cafeteria serving lines to visitors and employees.
Requirements:
- GED or High School Diploma preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.
- Must be 16 years of age to apply.
