About the Position:

We are seeking a talented Junior Site/Infrastructure Civil Engineer to join our team at Brown and Caldwell.

This role will involve contributing to the success of various projects across different sectors, including municipal, industrial, and federal clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Project Development: Assist in site design, grading, and drainage efforts for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
  2. Design Support: Work collaboratively with civil engineers and design staff to prepare design reports, construction plans, and specifications.
  3. Pipeline Analysis: Perform calculations and modeling of pipeline hydraulics for open channels and closed conduits.
  4. Deliverables: Create technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables as required.
  5. Planning and Compliance: Participate in planning studies, alternatives analysis, and permitting processes.
  6. Inspections: Verify compliance with project specifications through field inspections.
  7. Investigations: Conduct site investigations as necessary.
  8. Teamwork: Foster effective communication within project teams.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification: EIT certification preferred.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD C3D, ArcGIS, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and site/drainage design software.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Ability to use Microsoft Office and other standard computer programs.

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $72,000 to $118,000, based on location and qualifications.
