Site Operations Specialist

A highly skilled Site Operations Specialist is required to join our team at IMCO General Construction, Inc. This role involves project management, health and safety coordination, communication, and project controls with a focus on teamwork, innovation, and effective time management in Western and Eastern Washington.
About the Position
The successful candidate will be part of the project management team, responsible for overseeing project operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, facilitating effective communication among stakeholders, and managing project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a culture of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) excellence throughout all project phases.
- Create a collaborative work environment that fosters open communication and teamwork among project team members.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with subcontractors, suppliers, design partners, and owners.
- Maintain strong internal working relationships with company management, administration staff, and craft management.
- Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and internal staff to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare comprehensive written reports and communications to stakeholders.
- Assist with project cost and schedule control, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Support pre-construction activities, including job set-up and planning.
- Receive, review, and track submittals and RFIs from vendors and contractors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records.
Compensation and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect an annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $80,000, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k) match, and generous paid time off.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Field Engineer - minimum 1 industry-related internship or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, engineering, or technical field from an accredited university.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using Microsoft Office and construction software.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and undergo a criminal background check.
