Position Overview We are in search of a motivated and experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Account Executive to enhance our team. This role presents a remarkable opportunity to engage with a dynamic, results-driven group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing all aspects of our commercial insurance clients' requirements. This position demands an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, adept at juggling multiple priorities while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a portfolio of middle-market commercial accounts, ensuring all client service needs are not only met but exceeded.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, comprehending their business needs and insurance requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate the smooth transition of new clients.
  • Evaluate and analyze clients' existing insurance coverage, providing insightful recommendations for enhancement.
  • Manage the renewal process for all assigned clients, including preparing renewal proposals and negotiating with carriers for optimal terms.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Work closely with underwriters and adjusters to handle claims and risk management concerns.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and products to offer the best advice and service to clients.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in commercial insurance and account management, particularly within commercial insurance or property & casualty insurance.
  • Valid state Property and Casualty License.
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • An insurance designation such as CIC or CPCU is preferred.
